Original painting. Date of creation: 2015

The painting depicts an Indian woman in a deep plum-colored sari looking directly at the viewer with her kind eyes. When I saw this woman, I immediately thought that this is a real image of a loving and merciful person. This fact was reflected in her eyes and the whole appearance. There was so much warmth and love in her image that I immediately wanted to capture it. Just because kindness is very beautiful!

This artwork was drawn from a sketch that I did during my expeditions to India. I bought a canvas and a stretcher from the local market and immediately began to paint. Therefore, when buying a painting, you have a chance to touch the real Indian aesthetics - despite the seeming unpretentiousness of the materials, the painting is stretched on a stretcher and executed perfectly.
